Ethical policy
Are you using recyclable materials for any aspect of the brand (packaging, kit contents, delivery boxes etc)?
Peel Of Print's mission is to reduce, reuse, recycle and do good for the planet one step at a time. We believe that small improvements add up to big changes. We take our responsibility to the environment seriously. The product's primary purpose is to encourage users to recycle clothing that may have found its way into landfills. Our product is also made in the UK, which helps to reduce our carbon footprint. We work hard to make sure all of our packing is recyclable. If any elements are not, we work hard on developing a more sustainable solution that will still help us deliver a Popping design project. We are open to continually improving on environmental issues and working with our local council and third-party organisations to monitor our progress. We must make small improvements to help people and our planet. We are committed to recycling and working with environmentally driven organisations. Our packaging design partners are B corp certified, so we know we are in trusted hands to deliver environmentally conscious product packing.
Our print parts are made from polyurethane, which is inherently more eco-friendly than most other plastics. It also doesn't contain any chemicals that interfere with endocrine and hormone systems, nor does it contribute to PH change in soil or water.
Polyurethanes play a crucial role in preserving the natural resources of our planet. Durable polyurethane coatings ensure that the lifetime of many products is extended well beyond what would be achieved without the coating. In addition, polyurethanes help to save energy sustainably.
We are proud to design our products in the UK and create our POPKIT content here too. This helps to reduce our carbon footprint more than anything.
Our kits meet the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety. Find out here what STANDARD 100 means and why it is worth checking for this label when buying textiles.
If a textile article carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain that every component of this article, i.e. every thread, button and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the article, therefore, is harmless for human health. Our independent OEKO-TEX® partner institutes conduct the test on the basis of our extensive OEKO-TEX® criteria catalogue. In the test, they consider numerous regulated and non-regulated substances that may harm human health. In many cases, the limit values for the STANDARD 100 go beyond national and international requirements. The criteria catalogue is updated at least once a year and expanded with new scientific knowledge or statutory requirements. It is not easy for manufacturers and customers to keep an overview of the legal situation concerning harmful substances daily. Our experts from the OEKO-TEX® institutes do this for you.
Do the factories you are using to produce your products use renewable energy and/or a closed-loop system (i.e., no chemicals or waste discharged from the site)
Our vendors must always comply, stay updated with energy-saving practices, and never discharge harmful chemicals or waste from their sites. We work with companies that use as much renewable energy as possible.
We value long-term relationships with suppliers we trust and with whom we can nurture ongoing mutually beneficial relationships. Openness and honesty are key for us to develop a business relationship. Certification is essential but can sometimes be something that organisations hide behind. We meet all our partners face to face and trust our gut when inspecting their sites to comply with our morals and ethical policies on environmental issues.
When working overseas, we work with third-party organisations to ensure that all suppliers meet our standards. Our suppliers tend to be locally based or within Europe. We try our hardest to keep as much of our supply chain local to help reduce travel emissions and unnecessary pollution. We will always look closer to home before we go oversee. We understand that the prime purpose of business is to make a profit, but this is not our sole mission People and the planet should always come first.
Have you made any efforts to reduce all single-use items in the company? If so, what have you done?
We always strive to find the best solution to deliver our Pop Kits in the best quality we can. Unfortunately, as there are a few safety issues connected with our kit, we must use the correct material that will not cause harm or danger to our customers.
The nature of our product is to create a fun popping print that will be applied to a pre-loved garment that may have found its way to landfills.
The only way to transfer the design to the garment is by using a high tempter. And to do that, we need to use a material suitable for thermal transfer so that it would not melt or catch fire. The safety of our customers is our highest priority.
This material is Transparent Polyester film coated with a cross-linked acrylic adhesive offering excellent temperature resistance. Unfortunately, this is Single-use plastic PET. This product does not generate or release any dangerous substances or hazardous chemicals when used under normal conditions. This is a non-hazardous product in accordance with the current GefStoffV and EU criteria. However, Let us be very clear: pure PP film, in all forms, is fully recyclable and does not produce any toxic or harmful by-products when reprocessed.
Have you considered reusable packaging?
Yes, we are always thinking of ways our customers could reuse our packaging. Our reusable POPKIT containers are fun, colourful containers designed for kids to reuse as Storage. We encourage the container to be used for storing arts and crafts utensils such as pens and brushes or whatever you dream up. It doubles up as a fun, creative Art box that looks great on your bedroom shelf.
Our sticky mask can be used again as the robust martial allows for you to have another go. so why not pop on to our site and get yourself some more magic print parts? We encourage our designs to be done more than once, so now that you mastered your first Print, why not give it a try again and make someone special a unique gift?

Seriously awesome concept for your little creatives.
My budding stylist could not have been prouder of the masterpieces they created, completely independently! Be prepared for them to be worn day and night with pride. Thank you iPOP for inspiring our kiddies.

A new experience for all of us. Have to say I enjoyed it very much too!
Inspiring and educational, it’s also very hard to go wrong so the finished piece looks great! The children loved it, and they made something they actually enjoy wearing, which is a total win. I’d buy this again for my children.

Our daughters (6 and 3) loved iPOP & their new t-shirts.
The little one helped sort the colours while the bigger one let her creative side out. It kept them amused for hours and they were delighted with their finished T-shirts, proudly telling their friends “I made this”.
